Super Food

Spirulina is a spiral-shaped, blue-green seaweed that has been around for over 3 billion years. Out of 1,500, only 36 species of spirulina are edible. First primarily grown in California and Hawaii, spirulina can now be produced in a controlled manner anywhere in the world where the climate permits. Commercially, spirulina is usually sold in the form of a blue-green dehydrated powder.
